Kyle Lowder is an American actor who was born in Missouri to Susan and Craig Lowder. He is the eldest of the three sons of the couple. His two younger brothers are named Travis and Cameron. When Kyle was three years old, his family moved to Pleasantville on the east coast where he was greatly affected by the influence of performing arts. He graduated from Pleasantville High School in 1998 and then moved on to attend the Syracuse University. However he soon left his studies midway to pursue a career in acting. He is known to be a very good athlete. He has been married to actress Arianne Zuker his co-star on Days of our Lives, since 2002.
Before being cast in The Bold And The Beautiful as Rick Forrester, Kyle was seen in the shows Days of our Lives, Cuts, Friends, and Pyramid etc. Apart from being a talented actor and a good athlete he is also a trained singer who has learned classical singing for six years. He has performed in the soundtrack of many episodes of The Bold And The Beautiful. During the short career that he has had till now, he has won the Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Younger Lead Actor as well as been nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award.

He carries a certain grudge against Ridge due to which there is no love lost between the two. Rick was earlier married to Amber Moore and later was dating Phoebe Forrester. Currently he is engaged to Taylor Marone against the wishes of his mother.
