Ashley Jones was born in Memphis and remained there for five years till her father Shawn Jones, who was minister at the Church of Christ, got a job in Texas. She appeared in her first commercial at the age of five. There she attended the High School for Performing and Visual Arts and later graduated from Lamar High School. She went on to pursue her higher studies at Pepperdine University, Malibu where she earned a Bachelor in Arts degree. She married writer Noah Nelson in 2003 and lives with him and her two pet dogs in Los Angeles.

Ashley started her career as a theatre artist with the Actors Theatre of Houston and worked on shows like The Woman, Ah Wilderness and Brighton Beach Memoirs. Later she moved on to work on television in shows like The Young and the Restless, Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, The District, CSI: NY, Without a Trace, Trust Me and Dead at 17 before being cast for the role of Dr. Bridget Forrester on The Bold And The Beautiful. She has also acted in the films Old School, His Good Will, Extreme Dating, Devil’s Prey and The King’s Guard. In addition she has also been the executive producer for the show Dead At 17.

In The Bold and the Beautiful she plays the role of Bridget Forrester. She is the daughter of Eric Forrester and Brooke Logan. She is a talented physician and is working at the University Hospital. She was earlier married to Deacon Sharpe and later fell in love with Dante Damiano, due to which she had a fight with her half sister Felicia. She is currently married to Nick Marone but has separated from him as she came to know that Katie was pregnant with his child.
