‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ star Jack Wagner is not the one to be perturbed by a hard challenge. He loves to take on tough tasks full one and give his best shot at them.

So, when he was shown the exit door quiet early in the latest series of ‘Dancing with the Stars’, a phase of frustration did strike him. However, he overshadowed that feeling by taking a lot of positives from his foot-tapping experience.

If you can remember, it was his unimpressive samba performance with the seasoned body-shaker Anna Trebunskaya (in the eyes og judges) that secured him an early exit.

What Jack has extracted from his short stint on the dance competition is a bit of disappointment along with some unforgettable moments.

His recent statements make it crystal clear that he is not the one to show his back to challenges, for he likes to put in hard work to pose as an equal to his challenger. And he adds that dance did test him, especially when his partner increased the difficulty level with her expert choreography.

The decorative word he chose to describe the overall persona of his partner is ‘cool’ and cool she definitely was!

With the official announcement of Lesley-Anne Down’s departure from The Bold and the Beautiful, her meteoric character, Jacqueline Payne Marone’s journey of nearly nine back-to-back seasons would also come to an end.

The actress joined the epic soap opera in 2003 and continued to offer her service till the decision of not renewing her contract was made a few weeks ago.

The thespian had humongous experience of appearing in other smash hits including  ‘Upstairs, Downstairs’ before she was roped in as a regular in Bradley Bell’s show.

A note on 57-year’s website confirmed Bell’s decision, and also went to acknowledge the massive support of fans for Down’s acts over the years.

Even though nothing has been revealed about when would actress’ last appearance on the soap opera be aired, sources close to this development confirmed that it would be some time later in the year.

Her character being the stakeholder as well as the owner of Jackie M Designs played a crucial role in eliciting drama, almost in every season. And I am sure once she bids adieu to the show, most of her ardent follower would miss the character badly.

While appearing in The Bold and the Beautiful episodes she had some redefining moments of her career, I am sure she would etch those times in her heart, and recollect them in tranquility long after she had left B&B.

It’s not known why the creator is adamant on extending the contract with Down. Nonetheless, an abrupt decision is suggestive of some major changes in the main story line.

Of course, her character’s departure is a saddening affair, but all of us would like to witness how it exits the block.

I think, I need not remind you to follow the series religiously, after all the build-up to her send-off would take place from now onwards.

Among several accolades in her kitty, Down would probably take a look at those which were conferred on her for portraying the role of a fashion company owner. And it doesn’t take any soul searching to assume how her eyes would fill with tears while reckoning her long standing legacy.

The award winning show The Bold and the Beautiful is known throughout the world, for its amazing storyline and characterization. Now, they have done something which can be termed as pretty humane.

They have dedicated two of their episodes to a great cause. An organization named United Friends of the Children, which is fighting for the young adults who have aged out of the foster care system, will be visited by the stars from the show.

The Bold and the Beautiful team has collaborated with United Friends of the Children, with the sole motive of spreading awareness on various social issues.

The plot of the two special episodes is rather unique, and the great thing is that the it has been blended with the overall theme of the series, pretty nicely. Well, that is the beauty of this show and the way the writers write the episodes is amazing, and an inspiration for me as a writer.

Stephanie Forrester, who is the popular Beverly Hills socialite and associated with one of the most famous fashion houses, will be seen following Beverly and Dayzee Leigh. Stephanie Forrester will be with Hope Logan, and together they will follow them to the foster care center, where Beverly has been living since childhood, and from the California’s foster care system she aged out. The home they will be visiting is named Pathways.

Stephanie and Hope will get to meet the residents of the facility and they will be interacting with them. The stories and life’s experiences of the residents will certainly touch Stephanie and Hope’s heart. Through these episodes it is certain that the fans will get the message of spreading the word and being compassionate to them.

United Friends of the Children and The Bold and the Beautiful crews’ endeavor will spread the message across the globe.

The best way or word to define this show is epic. The unceasing show has been a part of our television and never wishes to end. We don’t even want it to end, for that matter.

Fans have been watching this show since I don’t know when and have accepted it with all its flaws. Flaws! Does it really have any? Well, every show is surrounded by controversies. They are criticized for some or the other things.

The Bold and the Beautiful also has its share of controversies. People have criticized the show for changing the storylines like anything. The writers change the plot quite frequently when they sense that the existing storyline is not working for the show.

Generally, writers change the storyline when they see that the TRPs of the show are falling. In order to attract new audience and retain the existing ones, writers change or tweak the storyline. Some critics have also applauded the efforts of the writers. They believe that the show takes a smart decision by regularly improvising the storyline, thereby, avoiding monotony.

Another point for which the show is reprimanded by fans is recasting. This feature is quite regular for the show as new actors come and go for one single character. And this often leads to viewer retaliation.  Bridget Forrester’s character was previously portrayed by veteran actor Jennifer Finnigan, later; Emily Harrison was called in to fill in the shoes of Bridget. This change was not at all appreciated by the fans.

The character of Bridget started losing its sheen and soon became a recurring character. The show people realized and decided to invite Ashley Jones and she got stuck with the show. The show also had many favorable recasts like Lesli Kay’s Felicia Forrester, Winsor Harmon’s Thorne Forrester and Patrick Duffy’s Stephen Logan.

Are you telling me that the 31 daytime Emmy Award winning series is encouraging incest?

Well, this might sound blasphemous, but most of the so-called incestuous relationships are not actually so.

You got me right, my friends!

That is so because the characters are not related by blood to each other. Let’s look at some of the controversial relationships of the series.

Rick Forrester was involved with Ridge’s daughters, Phoebe Forrester and Steffy Forrester. He also had a brief relationship with their mother, Ridge’s ex-wife Taylor Hamilton.

Stephanie Forrester had a fling with her daughter’s fiancé, Clark Garrison.

OMG!

Talking about the most controversial character, Brooke Logan - she was in a relationship with three Forrester men!

She was married to Ridge Forrester, with whom she had a son, Ridge Forrester Jr. She was also with Nick Marone, Ridge’s half brother and Thorne Forrester, another one of the Forrester siblings.
Phew!

Brooke, lady you are I-N-S-A-N-E!

Now I know why Kenyan men despise Brook Logan Forrester to the core!

But the women there love her, because she is independent.

There are many other stories from The Bold and The Beautiful episodes, in which you can witness the relationship catastrophe.

But, why are the characters so involved in near-incestuous relationships?

Probable reasons can be a very tight cast in the show. Or, could it be the complexities of the characters?

But I must praise the script-writers, who have very smartly woven such a web of relationships.

Keeping all the controversies aside, the series is running like it will never stop and we don’t want it to stop either, do we?

The latest buzz for all you B&B aficionados is that the show, after a massive 25 seasons of regular viewing, is finally joining the league of its competitors, as it goes HD. That means that we can now finally see our favorite characters on the show in all their glory, in high-definition! I simply can’t wait for the next season!

While this may come as great news to just about anyone associated with the show, there is one actress who is keeping mum on the matter, and is avoiding the spotlights. I’m talking about Jeanne Cooper, who keeping up with her outspoken nature, made a rather uncalled for comment at the Emmys, while accepting her award for the best actress.

How can we forget that at the time, Jeanne blatantly said that high-def is a b**ch, in support of the fact that the show wasn’t HD back then. While it is really sweet of Jeanne to have spoken up for her show, despite it evidently being a step behind in technology, she has to reap the rewards of her words now.

If only she had been a tad careful, and realized that it wouldn’t be long before B&B joins the league of HD shows.

The show’s executive producer Brad Bell, when asked to comment on the actress’ remark, was sweet enough to cover up for her, by saying that he isn’t sure whether the cast members are aware of the progress yet. (Who are you trying to fool here, Brad?)

Well, our message to Jeanne is that we forgive her for her faux pas, and permit her to come out of hiding, promising that we’ll not make her feel bad about her past comments. LOL! But darling, watch your words next time around, especially when you are speaking not just for yourself, but for the entire team of your show!

For now, all that we can do is sit back and wait patiently for the upcoming The Bold and The Beautiful episodes, which we are sure are going to be better than ever in HD!

This show started when yours truly was a little kid and is still going strong and by strong I mean more than 6000 episode strong, baby! It is sexy, it is dramatic and it is The Bold and the Beautiful.

Yeah, the show that started in 1987 is still going pretty strong with the audiences!

But I am at my wits’ end, I’ve gone crazy wondering about what makes this show with such a limited cast to be able to keep running for so long and win more than 30 awards, over the time?

Is it the lust-fuelled affairs? Is it the beautiful women or the handsome men?

See, all of those things might be true, but these are materialistic desires, which will keep changing in short time spans. So, what is it really that makes this show attractive to so many people after so many years?

It’s simple really, there is no one thing that makes The Bold and the Beautiful, it is wonderful mix of a group of dedicated actors with a luscious appeal, immensely gifted writers who have been able to maintain the viewers’ interest in the show for over 24 years.

And not to forget that the most important contribution to this show’s longevity has been the love of its fans and followers. Certainly there are shows that get more popularity, but in totality no one is above this one.

The adventures of the Forrester family have wowed us for a long time, beginning with the story of Stephanie and Eric Forrester, the founders of the Forrester Creations and together they sired four children, all of whom have managed to carry their name forward albeit with plenty of drama.

Another positive aspect of the show is that the writers have never stayed on a storyline for too long, and somehow they keep themselves abreast of the popular mood and keep changing the storylines to please the general viewers, so much so that people still love to watch The Bold and The Beautiful online.

In fact, it wouldn’t be too wrong to accuse the show of actually being too good rather than just Bold and Beautiful and that’s the reason, which is keeping masses busy to make its download!

The event was ‘Daytime Emmys’ and the stage was perfectly set for the spoils to go to the victors. Well, frankly the only thing separating the two (awards & victors) was the announcement that who was going to be the winner.

Well, it did take some time, but the announcement came and when it did, ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ was hailed as the champion of champions.

Let me tell you in detail, how it happened! It was Sunday night and it was the luxurious setting of the Las Vegas Hilton!

The nominations for the ‘Best Drama Series’,  ‘The Best Young Actor’, ‘Best Supporting Actress’ and ‘Best Directing’ categories had been announced.

Among the nominations was the show The Bold and the Beautiful for the first category and its representatives (actors) for the categories that followed. When the results got announced, it was a complete clean sweep by the show.

Not only did it get declared as the top show for the third time in a row, it had Scott Clifton winning as the best younger actor and Heather Tom getting declared as the best supporting actress.

So many awards in one night! Now, isn’t that a reason to party?

Mind you, these awards are not something that can be labeled as flukes! The show completely deserves all these awards! No wonder it has been awarded with the best drama series trophy for the third time. Watch The Bold and The Beautiful online and see for yourself the worth of this show. Give it one look and you would see all your doubts regarding it blowing to pieces. No wonder so many people look for its download all the time.

With this victory, the show has completely proven its worth and has put to rest any speculation whatsoever that may be doing the rounds.
